It’s a brilliant continuation of a phenomenal fantasy series.

Being honest, I can’t see any reasonable justification for someone who read the first book not to pick up this one. Every single good thing from The Name of the Wind is here. Kvothe continues his story, and I can’t imagine anyone finishing the first book peacefully without wanting to know what happens to him next. That said, I’ll admit: it’s a long book, but somehow even 1,000 pages don’t feel like enough. I can understand why some readers might feel frustrated that we still don’t know the full story. Considering it’s been 13 years since this book was published, it’s unsettling to think we might never get the conclusion. However, the book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, and even without the final installment of the trilogy, it’s so incredibly enjoyable that I firmly believe it’s worth reading on its own. Even if the series remains unfinished, this book is a rewarding journey. That being said, there are some aspects that felt less exciting. The constant back-and-forth between Kvothe and Denna gets a bit repetitive and tiresome. Additionally, a few situations (no spoilers here) come off as forced or poorly explained. Despite these minor flaws, I had a fantastic time reading this book, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s a brilliant continuation of a phenomenal fantasy series.

Bonito, mas...
Recomendo
